Spoon Café in Henley-on-Thames are long term clients and James Albert Interiors are so proud to work with 'Mama' Spoon and provide interiors that compliments the amazing food on offer. They first contacted us in 2016 when, after being a stay at home mum for 25 yrs Cindy saw a space in the market for a gastronomically inventive, friendly and beautifully designed (that's where we come in!) café.
We first produced a welcoming space with a relaxing neutral palette. The incredibly comfortable bench seats were upholstered with a flat weave cloth in-keeping with the decor at the time.
September 2019
Going from strength to strength with the best coffee, delicious fruit juices and nutritious contemporary dishes Spoon was proving a popular place to grab a coffee. The benches were in need of a refresh and Cindy didn't hesitate to get back in touch for a (quick!) refresh.
"James Albert Interiors achieved all the seating in Spoon ready for the opening back some nearly three years ago. Since then we have had thousands or even millions of bums on these seats! We decided to revamp the seating after three years and asked Serena if she could redo the seating again for us last month in September 2019. This she did with complete ease almost over a weekend so we did not have to loose the seating we already had for our customers. Great job. Happy days."
At JAI we pride ourselves on working to our clients deadlines and will always do everything we can to accommodate them. Luckily on this occasion our fab(ric) suppliers were able to deliver quickly and the whole team came together to deliver for our longstanding client.
February 2021
It really doesn't seem like almost a year ago but in February 2021 Cindy got back in touch looking for a more durable solution for her seating - we sourced a fabulous faux leather. This gave the deli and café a fresh new look and also had the added benefit of catering for the four legged clientele - being wipeable and super instagram-able!
